Where can I buy dumbbells and weight plates in North York?
GOAT Fitness is a fitness equipment store at 1111 Flint Road, Unit #22, North York, ON M3J 3C7, on the Vaughan border. We stock rubber hex dumbbells from 5 to 100 lb and Olympic weight plates in rubber, cast iron and urethane, ready to take home the same day.
What are your store hours?
We are open every day from 11 AM to 8 PM, including holidays. It is a walk-in store, so you do not need an appointment.
How much do your dumbbells cost?
Rubber hex dumbbells are $1.10 per pound and sold singly, so a 25 lb dumbbell is $27.50 and a 50 lb dumbbell is $55. Our 5 to 30 lb set is $229.99 and our 5 to 50 lb set is $579.99. Prices are in Canadian dollars before HST and can change, so the product page always has the current price.
How much do your weight plates cost?
Olympic cast iron plates are about $1 per pound, for example $45 for a 45 lb plate. Olympic rubber coated plates are $55 for a 45 lb plate and $32.50 for a 25 lb plate. A full rubber plate set with a pair each of 45, 35, 25, 10, 5 and 2.5 lb is $299.99. Prices are in Canadian dollars before HST and can change.
Do you sell dumbbells one at a time?
Yes. Rubber hex dumbbells are sold singly, so buy two if you want a pair. You can also buy just one heavy dumbbell for goblet squats or one-arm rows.
Can I order online and pick up the same day?
Yes. Order at goatfitness.ca and choose pickup. We will let you know when your order is ready, and you can collect it at the store during opening hours.
Do you deliver in the GTA?
Yes. We deliver locally across the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, North York, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Maple, Concord, Richmond Hill, Markham, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brampton and Aurora. Call or text (647) 648-1911 for a delivery quote.
Do you ship across Canada?
Not right now. We offer in-store pickup and local delivery in the GTA. Call or text us if you are outside the area and we will tell you what we can do.
Do you sell full home gym setups?
Yes. We sell dumbbell sets, plate sets, and a rubber plate and 7 ft barbell bundle with clips for $299.99. We also carry racks, benches and flooring, and we can help you plan a setup that fits your space and budget.
What is the difference between rubber, cast iron and urethane plates?
Cast iron costs the least. Rubber coated plates are quieter and easier on floors. Urethane plates are the most durable and suit commercial gyms. Rubber coated plates are not bumper plates, so they should not be dropped from overhead. Our guide explains the differences in detail. Read the guide.
What payment methods do you accept?
In the store we take cash, debit, credit cards and Interac e-Transfer. Online checkout accepts major credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Where do I park and how do I find the store?
We are at 1111 Flint Road, near Steeles Avenue. Enter from the courtyard, where there is parking, and look for the GOAT Fitness sign at Unit #22.
